Nederland zou dat perspectief interessant kunnen zijn. Een ander punt dat mij
inziens meer aandacht verdient, is het voorkomen van malaria in de middeleeuwen.
Hoewel er indirecte aanwijzingen zijn dat deze ziekte een belangrijke rol sPe£lde'
is hierover nog te weinig bekend. In een grote toekomstige studie hoop ik hier
meer over te weten te komen.19
